CCF Scholastic Chess Tournament

Non-rated 5SS in 5 sections, open to K-8.

Entry Fee:  Free for all.

Schedule:
Check-in - 8:30 – 9:30
Tournament - 10:00 – 3:15
Trophy Presentation - 3:30 (est.)

Sections: Novice K-2, Novice 3-4, Novice 5-6, Novice 7-8, Advanced.

Time Control: Advanced section G/20 increment 5 when clocks available. Notation required in Advanced section only.

Awards:
All sections:  Trophies to top 7 individuals, top 2 teams.
Team score determined by top four scores in novice sections, top three scores in advanced.

Entries:

CCF uses a roster system for coaches sending in team listings, and accepts individual entries by email for parents wishing to register their kids.  All players on submitted rosters are eligible to play in any CCF tournament during the scholastic year.

Registration: All coaches and parents are asked to pre-register all of their players. Once you have registered your roster for our tournaments, the players will be in our system and will not need to be re-registered for each tournament. Check-in:

All players must check in on site by 9:30.  Late arrivals may not be paired in the first round.

Equipment: Boards and sets provided, Advanced section players please bring clocks if possible.
