Correction to Games Database

Games 19228 and 19229 have been removed from the Illinois Games Database. The games which showed Bill Brock defeating Fred Allsbrook were not actual games, they were analysis that was mistakenly included in the database. Apologies to Mr. Allsbrook.

CALL FOR BIDS: 2016 IL K-8 Championships

The Illinois Chess Association is now accepting bids for the 2018 Illinois K-8 Chess Championships.

Suggested dates are March 12 and 13, 2016. Preference will be given to bidders with an upstate location.

Bid deadline is now February 1.

Lisle Hilton Copy The ICA Annual Meeting for members will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, November 22, at the Hilton Lisle / Naperville, 3003 Corporate West Drive in Lisle.

ICA officers will present reports on ICA activities for 2014, and we will conduct any business that comes before the meeting.
