South Suburban Chess Wars XIX

 
On January 14,  the Glenwood Chess Club hosted Chess Wars XIX.
The Under 1650 and Open Sections were combined at the event. The always dangerous Sam Henderson took first place as the Open section winner.
The lucky tournament organizer seemed to be on fire and took first place in the U1650 section. The other winners taking second through fifth place respectively were: Richard Lewis, Yashom Kapoor, Joseph “The Great” Hooks and Megan Chen.
 
In the Under 1250 Division, the first through third place winners were: Paul Fritz, Yana Kapoor, and Avichal Josi.
