61 W. Penny Road, South Barrington, Illinois 60010, sponsored by Chess without Borders. 5/SS G/30 for Primary, Elementary and Nonrated sections; 4/SS G45 for Open section. Schedule: Round 1 begins at 10:00 am, other rounds ASAP, tournament ends approx. 3.00 pm. Sections: 1. Primary (Grades K-3), 2. Elementary (Grades 4-5), 3. Open: Middle school (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), and Adults,  4. Non-rated (All grades and adults. Players in sections 1-3 must have a USCF ID number. Awards: Top 5 Individual trophies for each section. Top 3 Individual trophies for each grade K-5, Top individual trophy for grades 6-12, Top 3 Team trophies in each rated section. Top 5 trophies in non-rated section. All Kindergarteners receive participation medals. Entry Fee: $25 if postmarked by May 29; $30 if received after May 29; $35 on-site before 9:15 a.m. A portion of the proceeds will go towards a non-profit program.
