Open Tournaments

North Shore Chess Center (Skokie, IL) G/60 + 5/sec incr - 6R-SS + Game/3 Blitz Tournament each night at 7pm. North Shore Chess Center, 5500 West Touhy Ave., Suite A, Skokie, IL 60077. 847.423.8626. EF: $30 for non-members of the chess center, $20 for members of the chess center received by 10/24 - entry fees cover all 6 rounds of play and Blitz tournament on both days! Onsite registration up to 15 minutes prior to round 1. Round times: 10am start each day, with following rounds starting 15 minutes after completion of previous round. Special rules - Top Half of players after round 3 will continue on in Round 4. Bottom Half of players will start fresh in a new section for final 3 rounds. This way more people can win prizes! Only 1 half-point bye allowed on each day. Prizes: 1st thru 3rd - $50-30-20 Amazon Gift Certificate. Top U1800 & U1600 - Free entry into next month Game-60, Game-45 or Game-24.
