3SS G/60; +30 second increment. USCF Regular Rated.

(GPS may lead you one block away from the actual location, so please be aware)
Two Sections: OPEN and U1700 (Under 1700 and unrated). 1600 - 1699 may play up to OPEN; published USCF Regular Rating determines eligibility. Unrated players will be placed at TD discretion; sections may be combined at TD discretion.

Schedule: Check-in and registration 9:00 – 9:30 am, first round 9:45 am, lunch, second round 1:20 pm, third round: 4:45 pm. Player must check in by 9:30; players who arrive late will receive a half-point bye for the first round and/or be paired with another late arrival or TD. You may take one half-point bye in any round.
On-Site Entries: On-site entry fee is $20, Cash only.

Food: Pizza, fast food, Oberweis, five minutes away (In front of Buffalo Grove High School)
Your Prize: Top scorer gets to pick the title of this tournament (if tied, blitz), and three games of quality regular rated chess in a congenial atmosphere! (Borrowed from Evanston Chess Club).
Other information: Bring sets, limited number provided. Bring digital clocks. There is no wi-fi here.
