5 Round Swiss System in 2 Sections:
Open - All players of all strengths are welcome.
Reserve - Only available for players with Ratings 1400 and under.

Time Control:
Game 90 with 30 second increment

(if an increment capable clock is not available, set the clock for 30 second delay instead)

Schedule:
Saturday April 8th:

8:00-8:45am Registration
9:30am Round 1
2:00pm Round 2
6:30pm Round 3

Sunday April 9th:
10:00am Round 4
3:00pm Round 5

Byes
A half-point bye for any round is available during pre-registration only. Once pairings are posted for the first round, no additional half-point byes will be granted.

Remember, no prize money will be given to players who do not play the final round and fail to notify the TD of their withdrawal.

Sets, Boards & clocks will be provided. Organizer provided equipment must be used in cases of equipment dispute. Organizer provided equipment will be discounted and on sale upon tournament completion for schools, clubs and players to purchase.

Expert (2000-2199) $90 & $60
Class A (1800-1999) $90 & $60
Class B (1600-1799) $90 & $60
Class C (Below 1600) $90 & $60
Upset: $50 (200 Point difference to qualify) Classes may be combined if less than 3 in a class

$40 if received on or before midnight April 5, 2018
$50 if received after April 5th or at the door.
Masters play free in Peoria and we don't deduct EF from Prize winnings.
