DATE CHANGE: Grove Avenue School Chess Tournament

Location:   Grove Avenue School, 900 S Grove Avenue Barrington, IL 60010

Schedule   Round 1 begins at 10:00 am with the next four rounds to follow right afterward. We anticipate that the tournament will be over at 3:00 pm.

Time control   G/30 5 rounds. No elimination. Everyone plays all 5 rounds!

Sections   1. Primary (Grades K-3) 2. Elementary (Grades 4-5) 3. Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), and Adults Players must have a USCF ID Number Awards   Top 3 Individual trophies for each section Top Individual trophy for each grade K-12 Top 3 Team trophies in each section. Middle and High School Top Awards.

All Kindergarteners receive participation medals!

Entry Fee   $35 if postmarked by March 27; $40 if received after March 27th. $45 on-site before 9:30 am Players rated over 1600 get a free entry fee in any section! Portion of proceeds will benefit a charity program.
