Round starting times K-1 Section:  10:00AM, 12:30PM, 2:00PM, and 3:30PM
Round starting times 2-3 Section:  10:00AM, 12:30PM, 2:45PM, and 5:00PM
Round starting times 4-5 & 6-8 Sections:  10:00AM, 12:45PM, 3:15PM, and 5:45PM

Sunday, March 10:

AWARDS
Each participant will receive a commemorative ribbon
Trophies to top 25 individuals in each division
Trophies to top 10 teams in each division
Trophies to top 2 in each grade
Class trophies for top 2 in several classes in each section

ENTRY FEE
$40 per player if received by February 20, 2019.
$55 per player if received by February 28, 2019.

$60 per player if registering on site by March 8, 2019 at 9:00PM.
No new registrations will be accepted on Saturday morning.
Check payments can be made payable to Bloomington/Normal Area Scholastic Chess and mailed with completed registrations to Amy Green, 405 Hovey Avenue, Normal, IL 61761.
Include the following: USCF number, name, grade, school, town of school, phone number and email address.

Other information:
Players must come from the state of Illinois. Top four players count toward team score. No club teams. No byes last round. Byes for any single round must be requested before the end of the first round. Only one bye allowed for tournament. All other rules/regulations shall be in accordance to ICA By-laws and the USCF Rulebook. 

Special Note: USCF JTP will be allowed in K-1 and 2-3 Sections, however if players in these sections are playing in Blitz they must have a current USCF membership.

2019 ILLINOIS K-8 CHESS BLITZ & BUGHOUSE TOURNAMENT

Blitz tournament will be rated so JTP memberships will not be valid.
Blitz registration is available online or onsite March 8 5:30PM – 6:10PM. The tournament will begin at 6:30PM.
Trophies will be awarded for 1^st – 5^th place overall and 1^st place for Grades K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8.
Bughouse registration will be on-site 5:30PM – 7:30PM. The tournament will begin at 8:00PM.
Trophies will be awarded for 1^st – 5^th place overall.
The Blitz and Bughouse tournaments will be 5 Rounds SS. G5/D0 played in one section.
