8th edition of the Champaign Chess Championship

Location: Illini Union (1401 W Green Street, Champaign IL 61820) Room 104 on April 13th 2025.

It is 4 rounds g60d5 with rounds at 10 am-1-3:30-6. All half point byes must be declared by the end of round 2. Online registration closes the night before the tournament. Also, please make sure to put your full (first and last) name when registering. 3 sections: Open, u1600, and unrated. No membership is required to play in the unrated section. Unrated section is restricted to those without any USCF rating. EF: $20

There is an extra $10 charge to registering on site so please sign up early. Playup fee is $10; you must be at least 1500 to play in the open Please bring your own sets and clocks as we will not have enough for everyone. Please let me know if you have any questions. I hope to see you all there!
